Celebrating the vibrant atmosphere at the Hyper Japan Festival 2023

The 2023 Hyper Japan Festival brought a vibrant atmosphere to Olympia London, showcasing a diverse selection of stalls, stages, and workshops. From manga and anime, to live music, fashion, street food, gaming, and technology, this immersive celebration showcases the latest and greatest straight from Japan.

We wanted to create a fun and exciting video highlighting the 3-day event, while also incorporating as many of the different stalls and experiences that were on display to capture the essence of this amazing yearly event. A challenge to fit everything within 90 seconds!

An event based around Japanese culture, art, anime, gaming and food was always bound to be full of colour, happy faces and a great atmosphere. When an event is filled with excitement as much as this, the video practically shoots itself.

In preparation for this event we had a floor plan and timetable to work from. We worked out a route to get round to each booth and stage event all within a specific timeframe. We prepped for everything and crafted a bulletproof plan, which led to a shooting day that ran smoother than clockwork.
